L’OBJET aspires to offer designs for the home that are both luxurious and functional, to the highest degree of excellence possible. As a young and successful Hollywood interior designer, our founder Elad Yifrach was frustrated by the limited options available to him. So, in 2004, he started the company, based firmly on a commitment to artistic integrity and material innovation, to produce objects that integrated beauty with design.
The techniques we use set L’OBJET apart from all others. They are entirely our own. Take, for example, the Byzanteum Collection. To achieve such extraordinary texture, we create a plaster mould so intricate and refined it can yield a maximum of only 15 pieces, compared to the Fine porcelain standard—reliant on a less articulated mould—of 150. Similarly, the masterful hand-application techniques and complex layering of different golds that allow us to achieve such brilliance are unheard of in the industry.
Further, to create L’OBJET metal collections, our craftsmen draw on fine jewelry making techniques. In hand-soldering delicate sections together, we use sterling silver. To achieve elaborate detail with Swarovski crystals—often hundreds hand-set in just one tiny section—we employ specially designed tools. No effort is spared. Every piece emblazoned with the marque L’OBJET has been touched by the hand of the master, and is held to the highest standards of material selection, creativity and craftsmanship.
Few have explored as we have the rich potential of incorporating distinctive, precious materials into functional works of art. We are proud of what we make, for its extraordinary beauty and quality. Things like these contribute to the character of a magical life. This mission continues to guide L’OBJET as one of the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the luxury goods sector.
It is no accident that The Robb Report in 2009 recognized L’OBJET as the “Best of the Best” in Tabletop. Our visionary style promises a fresh and original look for luxury home goods now and for years to come. Indeed, our creations have been widely hailed in countless publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Décor, House Beautiful and Town and Country, as well as in feature films and Network television.
