L'OBJET uses fine Limoges porcelain, which is relatively easy to care for. Most of our collections including Aegean white, Byzanteum white and Perlee white are oven-, microwave- and dishwasher-safe. (Note: Our pieces with hand-applied 24kt gold or platinum are not suitable for the microwave.) In the dishwasher, a gentle cycle is recommended. Avoid soaps and detergents containing citrus scents or additives. Use often and enjoy.

L'OBJET uses a variety of techniques to achieve our textures and finishes. To avoid undue wear to the unique pieces in your collection, we recommend hand-washing with mild soap or detergent and hand-drying with a soft dish towel. When not in use, place in a prominent location for all to see and enjoy.

Items made with nickel-plating are reactive with certain acidic foods substances and may discoloration may occur.

All L'OBJET frames are plated in 14K gold or platinum with Swarovski crystals and include acid free satin face paper to help retard the fade process of your photograph. Each frame can be easily opened by unscrewing the unique to L'OBJET closures on the back of each frame. No polishing is necessary.

Each paraffin candle is encased in fine Limoges porcelain with 14K gold accents and has an approximate burn time of 35-75 hours based on size. After candle use, the porcelain box remains a decorative treasure to be enjoyed.

Tip: To remove the candle easily prior to use, place into a freezer for several minutes for the wax to harden and then be gently removed. After use, place container under running hot water to dissolve the remaining wax.

L'OBJET plates all these pieces in 14K gold or platinum. No polishing is necessary. Instead, use a soft, damp cloth as needed. These are not overly delicate pieces. Use often, with pleasure.
